Discovery Flight

What to Expect

Experience your first flight and get a feel for what a pilot actually does when in control of an aircraft.

Taxi and Takeoff

You will learn to taxi the aircraft on the ground and, with assistance from your instructor, you will get to take off and experience the thrill of flying first hand.

Flight and Landing

During your flight, you will learn the basics of flying an airplane, like how to maintain level flight, how to make turns, and you will get to see the world from a whole new perspective. When it's time to return, the instructor will guide you in bringing the airplane back to the airport, and then the instructor will land the airplane.

Pre-Flighting the Airplane

Walk around the airplane with your instructor and learn the experience of the preparation that goes into each flight to ensure everyone returns safely.

After the Flight

After you taxi back to the parking spaces, you will review the flight with your instructor and talk about the next steps to becoming a student and pursuing a private pilot license!

Come in and meet your instructor, talk about you goals and dreams and review the plan for the days flight.
